All of us know that backlink is one of the most important parts of SEO.
Your Google Page rank and your blog ranking in Google search result is directly or indirectly depends on backlink.
To get backlink people follow many ways
- Submit blog link to Free or Paid Directories.
- Forum posting.
- Commenting on other’s blog.
- Guest post with backlink.
- Link exchange
- Buy backlinks
Before starting to get more and more backlinks for your blog/website one must read Google’s link Scheme to avoid any ‘Guideline Violation Notice’ from Google.
According to Google Guidelines, you should get backlink from relevant sites only.
Some people start exchanging links without knowing the fact that whether the site/blog is relevant to their own blog’s niche or not. This comes under violation of Google Guidelines and it may affect your ranking in Google search results.
Google Guidelines clearly mentioned that, “One should not participate in any link exchange program which is intended to manipulate your search Ranking, avoid links to web spammer or bad neighborhood”.
You should avoid excessive reciprocal links or excessive link exchanging (“Link to me and I’ll link to you.”).
Google suggest that buying and selling links for advertisement purpose doesn’t violate Google Guideline if uses with suggested guideline. If you have added any link on your blog/website for advertisement purpose then follow below method to avoid any violation.
- Add a rel=”nofollow” attribute to the <a> tag
- Redirecting the links to an intermediate page that is blocked from search engines with a robots.txt file
Google suggest that best way of getting quality backlink is create unique and useful content for people, such quality content get popularity on net quickly and people start linking your page on their own blog/websites.
